Summary
Nutrition Apps Ranked is a content publication, not a data business. We do not require accounts, do not run a newsletter that requires email signup, and do not sell, share, or monetize reader data.
What we collect by default
When you visit nutrition-apps-ranked.com, our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services / CloudFront) automatically logs request metadata as part of operating the site — URL, HTTP method, timestamp, referrer, user-agent string, and IP address. These logs are used only for site operations (debugging, traffic analysis, abuse detection). We do not combine these logs with any other identifying information.
What we do not collect
- No accounts. No signup, no login, no associated profile.
- No newsletter. We do not currently operate an email newsletter.
- No comments. No comment system, so no comment-related personal data.
- No third-party trackers. No Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, or comparable third-party trackers.
Cookies
We do not set tracking cookies. Strictly-necessary cookies for caching and CDN purposes (e.g., AWS CloudFront) may be set; these do not persist personal data and are not used for advertising.
Email correspondence
If you email any of our published addresses (editor@, corrections@), the content is read by a human contributor. We retain reader email indefinitely for editorial-record purposes. We do not share reader email with third parties.
Children's privacy
Nutrition Apps Ranked is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personally identifying information by default, most data-subject rights (GDPR, CCPA) are vacuous in our case. If you have emailed us and want your correspondence deleted, email editor@ with subject "DELETE" and we will purge the thread within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update the "last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes are flagged explicitly.
